Ministry Overseer

Minister Roby loves gospel and jazz music, she loves to travel, spending time with her daring grandchildren, Re'Naiyah, Mehki, and R'Monie and she loves loving on the people of God, especially the Senior Saints.
Minister Henrietta Roby currently serves as the Overseer of The Redeemer’s House Dallas founded in 2001 under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Kenneth Mims. Minister Roby was licensed and ordained in 2017 but is no stranger to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She has ministered as a speaker for Church Conferences, Pastor & Wife Anniversary speaker, Women’s Day speaker, prayer breakfast speaker, workshop facilitator, and numerous other church events for over 20 years.

Minister Roby earned a BS in Business Administration with an Accounting discipline in 1985 from Wiley College, Marshall, TX and a dual Masters in Organizational Management and Professional Development from Dallas Baptist University, Dallas, TX in 2005. Her work career includes ten years employed by the Internal Revenue Service where she held numerous positions within the Taxpayer Service Division. Most recently she was employed by Verizon for 14 years serving in numerous positions including Internal Audit as an Audit Specialist and as a Program Manager for the Community Outreach Initiative. She served as Vice President of Professional Development for CITE, a professional organization and employee interest group within Verizon and as the Co-Chair for the IT Diversity Council for 6 years and 8 years respectively.

Following her Verizon career, Minister Roby founded Everything Administrative & Fast Tax Services in 2015 offering governance and compliance consulting services in addition to personal and business income tax preparation and consultation to small to medium-sized churches, non-profits, and small businesses. With over 30 years in Church Administration experience in both paid and volunteer positions, her business mission is to ensure at least two persons are knowledgeable of the tax laws and financial impact involved with overseeing a ministry, non-profit or small business. She trains Boards of Directors, leadership teams and finance teams in processes and procedures for efficient ministry and business management.

The mother of two sons and one daughter, she is lovingly called “Grammy” as in Grammy Award Winning Grandmother by her grandchildren, ReNaiyah, Mehki, and R'Monie.
